Onboard your agent
Connect Showboat to your agent in a few clicks. You sign in with your browser, and there's no key to copy.

1. Set up
Paste this into your coding agent, in your repository. It asks you a few questions, then hands you the link to your first walkthrough.
Set up Showboat for me. Fetch https://showboat.show/install.md and follow it.Your agent connects Showboat and has you sign in once in your browser. Each question comes with the answer it recommends, so pressing Enter is fine: which feature to show first, and where to take the screenshots. Your own machine works, with no deploy. The push key stays out of your code.
It works in any coding agent that can fetch a page and connect a remote MCP server.
2. Fix something small
Circle something small on your walkthrough, right on the screen. Then tell your agent:
Pull the open comments on my Show and fix them.It reads the open Comments, fixes what they point at, captures the screens again and pushes a new Take to the same walkthrough. No deploy in between.
3. Tell your team
Once you've seen it work, bring your team in. Your agent offers a short update with the link, and helps you invite the people you name.
Rather send it yourself? On the walkthrough, choose Copy update.
If your agent can't invite people, add them under Settings → Members.
From the Claude app (chat and Cowork)
- Open the connector Directory and search for Showboat, or go straight to its listing. Choose Connect.
- Sign in to Showboat in your browser, with an email link or with Google.
- Choose what Claude may do:

Tick Invite Members and Guests only if you want Claude to invite people, change Teams or curate your Newsreel. You can connect again later to add it. Claude never gets more than your own access.
Claude chat reads and runs your Workspace: ask it what's open on your Shows, or which Sketches still wait for a vote. Your walkthroughs come from your repository, so for the first one, use the setup prompt in your coding agent.

The setup prompt is the quickest way. Prefer to add the connection yourself?

Disconnect any time
Remove the connection in your client, or disconnect it in Showboat under Settings → Connections.
